I'm currently torrenting HD rips of the first three (out of four) box sets of Urusei Yatsura. I don't feel too bad about that since the show is no longer licensed here in the US, and the Blurays don't have english subtitles. Hopefully somebody will post the 4th box set. I'm also really hoping the movies and OVAs come out on Blu as well.
A lot of people prefer Ranma ½, but UY is tied with Maison Ikkoku for my favorite Takahashi series. I remember falling in love with the show back when I worked at the comic shop and we got in the VHS three pack that had the first TV volume, first movie, and first OVA. Everybody else at the store hated it.
That was almost 20 years ago, and I still haven't seen the entire show. (I have seen all of the movies and OVAs.) It'll probably take me forever to watch all of the episodes.
Now if only Kimagure Orange Road would come out on Bluray...
